Kalshi is the first regulated exchange for trading on the outcomes of real-world events, like interest rates, elections, sports and weather. People set the price, not the house.

Kalshi is open to everyone in one nationwide market, so more traders means more competition, tighter prices and a better experience for all.
Every price and trade is public, so whether it’s the next Fed decision or the Super Bowl, you’re seeing a forecast set by people.
The market sets the odds, not the house. We never trade against you or profit when you lose, and we never limit customers for winning.
As a federally regulated U.S. exchange, we monitor every market for insider trading, keep minors off the platform and put responsible trading first.
Supported by leading investors in technology and finance who believe in creating markets for real-world events.
Kalshi is regulated by the CFTC, the federal agency that oversees exchanges like CME and ICE. Our business model is simple: we earn a small fee on every trade, never sell your orders and never profit from your losses.
Tarek Mansour and Luana Lopes Lara met while studying at MIT. During their early careers at places like Goldman Sachs, Citadel and Bridgewater, they saw that financial decisions often hinged on future events, but trading on those events meant complex, costly workarounds. So they set out to build a simple, direct exchange for people to trade on event outcomes.
